WITHAM ON THE HILL WI REPORT
The November meeting was a hands-on craft session. Ladies had a go at painting pebbles, making brooches with
Suffolk puffs or fabric flower brooches. Some wonderful items were produced and it was great fun with lots of chat!
You can see some of the results in the picture.
It was good to welcome visitors from Carlby WI to the meeting. We are hoping to merge with them once voting
has been completed.
There will be a Community Cafe in the Parish Hall on Friday 16 January at 10am. Come along for refreshments
and a chat – board games will be available. All will be welcome – men and women! It is a scheme organised by the
WI to aid mental health and alleviate loneliness.
The next WI meeting will be on
Tuesday 2 December at 7.30pm
in St Andrew’s Parish Hall, Witham on the Hill
It will be a Christmas party, when Val Calabrese will
demonstrate making a pizza and members will receive a
Secret Santa gift.
Visitors and new members always welcome - entry fee is £5.
There will be no meeting in January and the February
meeting will be the Annual General Meeting on 3 February
at 2.30pm in the Parish Hall.
